वाल्मीक संघटनेचे अध्यक्ष गणेश अंकुशराव यांनी हारांपासून धूप, उदबत्ती असे उपपदार्थ तयार करा. नाही जमले तर शिर्डी प्रमाणे विठ्ठल मंदिरात हराला बंदी घाला किंवा भाविकांनी आणलेले हार भाविकांच्या हातात प्रसाद म्हणून देऊन भाविकांच्या श्रद्धेचा सन्मान राखा, अशी मागणी मंदिर समिला केली आहे. जर मागणी मान्य न झाल्यास मंदिर समितीच्या विरुद्ध तीव्र आंदोलन करणार असल्याचा इशारा गणेश अंकुशराव यांनी दिला आहे.
अरबी समुद्रात तयार होणाऱ्या चक्रवातामुळे महाराष्ट्रात हवामान बिघडणार असल्याचा इशारा हवामान विभागाने दिला असून, 21 ते 24 मे दरम्यान राज्याच्या अनेक भागांमध्ये मुसळधार पावसाची शक्यता आहे. कोकण, मुंबई, मध्य आणि दक्षिण महाराष्ट्रात गडगडाटी वादळ, विजांचा
या पार्श्वभूमीवर मुंबई प्रादेशिक हवामान विभागाने 22 मेपासून कमी दाबाचे क्षेत्र तयार होणार असून त्याचा परिणाम महाराष्ट्रात मोठ्या प्रमाणात जाणवेल, असं स्पष्ट केलं आहे.
शेतकऱ्यांचे लाखोंचं नुकसान
राज्यात गेल्या काही दिवसांपासून वादळी वाऱ्यासह अवकाळी पावसाचा जोर कायम असून, अनेक जिल्ह्यांमध्ये शेतकऱ्यांच्या पिकांचं प्रचंड नुकसान झालं आहे. डाळिंब, कांदा, भुईमूग, पेरू, केळी अशी अनेक फळबागं आणि पिकं वाऱ्याने मोडून पडली आहेत. काही जिल्ह्यांत जीवितहानीसह जनावरांचाही मृत्यू झाला आहे.
पंढरपूर – डाळिंब उत्पादकांना फटका बोहाळी गावातील शेतकरी अंबादास हावळे यांच्या 16 एकर डाळिंब बागेचे वादळी वाऱ्यामुळे अक्षरशः जमीनदोस्त नुकसान झालं आहे. डाळिंब झाडं मोडून पडली असून, अंदाजे 15 लाख रुपयांचा फटका बसला आहे. यंदा दर चांगला होता, म्हणून शेतकऱ्यांनी मोठा खर्च केला होता, पण हाती काहीच उरलं नाही.
भुईमूगाची शेंग फोडली… वाशिममध्ये उन्हाळी भुईमुगाच्या काढणीचा हंगाम सुरू आहे. मात्र, पाऊस वेळेआधी आल्यानं शेंगा जमिनीतच राहिल्या आणि अंकुर फुटल्याचा प्रकार घडला आहे. 5,143 हेक्टरवर भुईमुगाची लागवड झाली होती. आता संपूर्ण पीक वाया जाण्याच्या मार्गावर आहे.
कांदा काढायच्या आधीच पाणी! बीड तालुक्यातील साक्षर पिंपरी गावातील शेतकरी शिवराज यांच्या कांद्याचं पीक वादळी पावसामुळे वाहून गेलं आहे. 50 हजार रुपये खर्च करून लावलेला कांदा, काढणीला आला असतानाच हवामानाने दगा दिला. शेतकरी म्हणतात, “तलाठी, मंडळ अधिकारी कुणीच बांधावर फिरकलं नाही.”
जनावरं दगावली, घरं पडली लोहारा, उमरगा, तुळजापूर, कळंब, भूम भागात 36 गावांत वादळी वाऱ्यांनी हाहाकार माजवला आहे. दोन जणांचा मृत्यू झाला असून, 3 जण जखमी आहेत. 28 जनावरांचा मृत्यू, 56 घरांची पडझड झाली आहे. पंचनामे सुरू असून, नुकसानभरपाईसाठी शेतकऱ्यांनी आक्रोश केला आहे.
पावसाचा जोर कायम लातूर जिल्ह्यात रात्रभर पाऊस कोसळला. रेणा नदीच्या पाण्याच्या पातळीत वाढ झाली असून, अनेक भागात वीजपुरवठा खंडित झाला आहे. हवामान विभागाने पुढील काही तासांसाठी ‘ऑरेंज अलर्ट’ जारी केला आहे.
हवामान विभागाचा इशारा 27 मे रोजी मान्सून केरळात दाखल होणार असून, 6 जूनपर्यंत महाराष्ट्रात पोहोचण्याचा अंदाज आहे. मात्र, त्याआधीच पावसाची सशक्त सुरुवात होत असून, पुढील काही दिवस नागरिकांनी आणि शेतकऱ्यांनी अत्यंत सतर्क राहावं, असा इशारा देण्यात आला आहे.
पुण्यात मुसळधार : मंगळवारी पुणे शहर आणि लगतच्या भागात जोरदार पाऊस झाला. झाडे कोसळणे, रस्त्यावर पाणी साठले, गटारी तुंबल्याने अनेक ठिकाणी वाहतूक विस्कळीत झाली. ३ ठिकाणी होर्डिंग्ज कोसळले, सुदैवाने यात कोणतीही जीवितहानी झाली नाही.
